1. The Service

Life Assistant AI provides tools for journaling, planning, nutrition, exercise tracking, connected fitness imports, and selected AI-assisted features. The service is intended to help users organize information and receive software-generated insights, but it does not replace professional medical, legal, financial, or other licensed advice.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Connected Accounts and Google Health

If you connect a third-party account such as Google Health or Strava, you authorize us to access the data needed to provide that integration. For Google Health, the current integration is designed to use a read-only activity and fitness scope so that workouts can be imported into your account.

You may disconnect a provider at any time. Disconnecting stops future syncs, but it does not automatically delete workouts or connection records that were previously stored in the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its normal operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or harmful content, bypass security controls, scrape private information about other users, or use the service in violation of law.

5. AI Features

AI-assisted features may generate summaries, recommendations, or other output based on information you provide. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for your circumstances. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions you make based on them.

You may not use the service to generate unlawful content, infringe the rights of others, or misrepresent automated output as professional advice.

6. Your Content and Our Limited License

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to the service. You grant Life Assistant AI a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the user-facing service you requested.

We do not obtain ownership of your private journals, health information, fitness data, or other personal content simply because you use the service.

7. Data Use and Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Notice. We do not sell your private health or fitness data, and we do not publicly share it as part of the normal operation of the service.

We do not use your private health, fitness, journal, or other sensitive personal content to train or fine-tune our own AI models. If the service uses third-party AI providers to power a feature, data may be sent to those providers only as needed to deliver the feature you invoked, subject to the provider and platform controls described in the Privacy Notice.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Security

We use safeguards designed to protect data processed through the service, including encryption where appropriate, encrypted storage for certain third-party credentials, and access controls. You understand that no service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Availability and Changes

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features from time to time, including integrations and AI functionality. We may also change or discontinue third-party integrations if the provider changes its APIs, terms, policies, or technical requirements.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create legal or security risk, or misuse the service. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Health, wellness, and AI-generated outputs are informational only and are not medical diagnosis or treatment advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Life Assistant AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we may notify you through the website, email, or an in-product notice. Continued use of the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Life Assistant AI operates, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
